Keeping Brown Sugar Moist

This may be one of those things where you say, “uh, hello, doing this already”!!

If these are the conversation rolling around in your head then, humour me and let me explain for the benefit of those that may not know…
If you want to keep your brown sugar from drying out, place a piece of soft bread in the container that houses your brown sugar (if you keep it in a bag, just put the bread in the bag and tie it tightly – but you should really think about keeping your brown sugar in a container because even the smallest pinhole in your bag will let air in and moisture out).  Once the bread becomes hard, replace it with another fresh piece (the end piece is usually left because nobody in my house eats it!!) until the brown sugar is done.  Easy!
