I know what you’re all thinking…what’s with all the salutations??
Well, I did a quiet giveaway just before Easter and there are a pile of you here that are new! So, to all of you new peeps, welcome to this crazy space I call Just Crumbs! I thought I’d do a “down and dirty” intro for all of you!!
(for those of you that have hung out with me here for a while, I have some exciting news to share at the end of the post!!).

So, this is me…
Actually, that’s me when I was 4 (making a birthday wish that the entire cake in front of me could be consumed by me and only me…some things never change!).
Below is a more accurate photo of me in my happy place (actually, my happy place is in a kitchen…any kitchen…this was in Massimo Bruno’s supper club kitchen where Massimo and I cooked for a group of newly landed immigrants – another joy of mine is giving back which you can read about under the tab “Bake it Forward”
This is more my style (when I’m not in the kitchen) … I live on farmland about 40 minutes north of Toronto and I spend a good chunk of time in the garden!
Living out here has made me realize that we (Canadians) are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place!!
But don’t worry…if you’re not into gardening (or “fake farming” as I like to call it;)), most of my posts are about food!
Big spreads like this (check out this summer party post! Keep it in the back of your mind until we are all allowed to gather!!!!!)
Sometimes I post about healthy things – like a big ol’ bowl of kale chips!!…
And sometimes it’s about making a decadent, “don’t worry about the calories” cheesecake…
But, if you follow me on Instagram, you know I’m all about belly laughs! On my social media posts (which are my way of sharing really lame jokes as well as recipes), I have fun with food – especially during holidays!!
