Healthy Israeli Salad

Israeli Salad is a must make Middle Eastern Recipe that is full of flavor! This salad is also similar to Italian cucumber and tomato salad but the flavours are more fresh!

Ingredients

  • 3 plum tomatoes
  • 1 large (English) cucumbers
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1/2 red medium onion red or white
  • 1/3 cup parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice fresh
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp sumac (optional)

Instructions

  • Slice the tomatoes in half and remove the stem piece (discard the seeds if you like).
  • Chop the tomatoes, cucumbers, and onion into smallish pieces; mince parsley.
  • Place the chopped vegetables and parsley into a bowl.
  • Add in the lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, sumac (if using) and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix until combined and serve.
