How to Make Easy Homemade Baked Pita Chips
Ever crave a crunchy (and healthy) snack? Well look no further than these super crunchy pita crisps. You can whip them up in minutes. Crisp and well seasoned, they are the best thing to add to your next charcuterie board!!
- 1 package Israeli-style pita
- cooking spray (or olive oil) can sub in garlic paste
- seasoning (such as tajin or lemon pepper)
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil and remove the pita from the packaging. With kitchen shears (or a sharp knife) cut the pita into triangle/wedges and place on the prepared sheet.
Brush the pita triangles with olive oil or garlic paste (or if you'd like a quicker step, simply spray them with cooking spray) and sprinkle with seasoning to taste (if you ware watching your salt, you can add a touch of nutritional yeast as a flavour booster!).
Place in the oven and bake until golden (between 13-15 min). Remove from over and serve as a crunchy treat!
You can keep it in an airtight container but I like to keep it in a paper bag in my pantry.
