What to do with Extra Celery or Carrots

I had a bunch of celery from my mom’s garden and a few carrots that were good to eat but started getting that white coating.
So, I chopped them and put them in the freezer (like these above in this picture).
So, next time I want to make a soup, I can just dump a bag of these in some olive oil and saute them before adding broth and all of the other goodies.Easy peasy…And easy peasy is always a good thing, right??
