Got some stale bread hanging around??

You can always make bread crumbs but why not make some croutons?  They are 4000% better than the stuff you see in a box at the grocery store and you can flavour them however you like!

Aaaand, you can eat them like potato chip…really!!

Just take some stale bread and cut into cubes (you can use buns or thickly sliced bread – just make sure it is good quality).  Drizzle it with some olive oil and sprinkle with a generous amount of salt and pepper;  toss it up!  Now you can go ahead and add other spices (like rosemary, cumin, paprika, etc) or grated cheese.  Bake at 400 for about 20 minutes or until golden on all sides (toss it around at about the half way mark).

Put them on your salad and you will never buy those stale boxed things again.  While you’re at it, put them on your next cheese tray…so much better than crackers!!!
