Worlds Fastest Ice Cream – No Ice Cream Maker Required!

I know it’s winter and ice cream is the last thing on your mind.

But this ice cream, seriously?  It’s just too incredible for me to keep it from you any longer.  It’s the perfect holiday treat…make ahead, easy and adaptable!

I’m not sure if you’ve seen the “no-churn” trend but, it’s ice cream’s version of semi fredo…frozen sweetened whipped cream.

Easy peasy.

The base is the same – always – but you can add to it or change it however you like.

A few weeks ago, I received a huge box of Ferrero Rocher so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to create a decadent dessert.  I crumbled up about 6-8 chocolates and threw them into the whipped mixture, swirled in dulce de leche and Nutella and froze it overnight.  Then I served giant scoops of ice cream in a giant Ferrero Rocher cup (it comes wrapped like a giant Easter egg!!) and then topped the ice cream with a white chocolate Ferrero Rocher and some melted dark chocolate.

In case you’re wondering, now is not the time to be overly concerned about good nutrition, low fat content or calorie reduction.

Ya, I would be messing with your head if I told you this ice cream was any of those things.

The base is just whipped cream and condensed milk…that’s it!

My version has this ridiculous “goodness in a jar”…

And this …

And crushed chocolates…I mean, come on!

You whip the cream and condensed milk, add in the rest and put it in a freezable container for a few hours..

Just the perfect snack to get you through that night of detangling your christmas tree lights…
